The titled footballer in Lithuania got karma for his love for Russia

The champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina: 2017/18 and Slovenia's 2018/19 champion Nardin Mulahuseynovich will not play for Zalgiris football club. According to the team's press service from Vilnius, the 25-year-old Bosnian striker and the team decided to part ways "by mutual agreement."

The reason for this decision was Mulahuseynovich's performance in the Russian championship. The forward signed a contract with Dynamo Makhachkala after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, and played 12 matches for them.

This week the Bosnian arrived in the Lithuanian capital to sign a contract with Zalgiris. However, after a conversation between the club and the players' representatives, both parties decided not to continue cooperation without agreeing on the final terms of the contract.

15min.lt clarifies that it was the Green's ultras who prompted the management not to sign a contract with the player. On social media, fans rioted over the signing of the player, who played in Russia from January to July 2023.
