The Swedish champion decided to make money in Russia and got karma in his home country
Junas Zherebko was blacklisted in his home country
The famous Swedish basketball player Junas Jerebko complained that he found himself unemployed in his home country after a trip to Russia. The 36-year-old forward signed a contract with CSKA Moscow in March 2022, after which he was dropped from the national team.
In June of that year, Zherebko left Russia and has never been able to find a job since.
"What the Swedish Basketball Federation started as a 'suspension' turned into a 'blacklisting. No answers from upper management. It would seem that given what I've done for the country, I should get some kind of response," Zherebko wrote on Twitter.
