The Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin cynically called sports competitions one of the main "conductors of understanding" that should help end various conflicts in the world. At the same time, the president of the Russian terrorist state did not mention the fact that Russian representatives violate various rules, in particular, by taking banned substances.

Putin said this at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, according to the website of the propaganda channel Match TV. The Kremlin leader complained that politicians have "mutual claims, mutual grievances, ambitions, and a struggle for their own political future."

"Culture and sports are the bridges of understanding, without which it is very difficult to end conflicts. Who will build bridges? It is difficult for the military to do this, politicians have mutual claims, mutual grievances, ambitions, struggle for their own political future, there is always a fight and a fight. Only cultural figures who are smart think about the future and build bridges. This is the mission of culture. Just like the mission of sports," Putin said.

As a reminder, the Russian dictator ordered the so-called Friendship Games to be held in 2024, which he called for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to boycott. In turn, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Pekskov regretted that "the IOC is unlikely to collapse in the near future."
