A moment in the second half

West Ham's Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals scored a fantastic goal in the 32nd round of the English Premier League. The 27-year-old Spain international scored the final goal in the 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

In the 72nd minute, Fornals responded to Jerrod Bowen's through ball. The Spaniard missed the point where he could have hit the target and had no choice but to try to score with a heeled shot over his head.

This is called a scorpion kick in football and is one of the rarest techniques. Fornals was able to fold up and send the ball into the net with the heel of his right foot.

It should be noted that the last time such a shot was scored in the European Championship was two years ago. It was the Belgian striker Cyril Ngonge of the Dutch club Groningen who scored.
