"Soldiers receive more money on the frontline". Commentator puts Ukrainian national team players for the demand to increase wages in place

Ukrainian TV commentator Vitalii Volochai has made harsh remarks about the Ukrainian national team volleyball players who demanded a salary increase. The information about the scandal in the national team was published the day before by journalist Andriy Sinkiv.

Volochai recommended those players who want more money sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"People receive good money on the frontline. Ukraine's top athletes can be useful in playing for the national team, all of them. If you do not play for the national team, you are of no use to Ukraine. Nobody is interested in you," Volochai wrote on his Telegram channel.

The commentator added that the decision to blackmail the Ukrainian Volleyball Federation was a very bad choice for Oleh Plotnytskyi, Semenyuk and other players.

"It's extremely ill-timed. Very detached from Ukrainian reality..." Volochai summarized.
