Oleksandriya draw with Shakhtar
Shakhtar Donetsk failed to beat Oleksandriya in the 25th round of the Ukrainian Premier League football championship. The match at the Nika Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the 9th minute, Mykola Mykhailenko shocked the Pitmen by opening the scoring. The Dynamo midfielder, who is on loan from Oleksandriya, struck a long-range shot that was irresistible to Trubin.
In the 24th minute, Igor Jovićević brought on Kevin Kelsy for the injured Traoré, and the Venezuelan scored for Shakhtar for the fifth time. In the 75th minute, Kryskiv broke through on the flank and his shot hit the bar. Kevin picked up the ball and sent it past the goalkeeper and into the net.
After this draw, the Donetsk team gained 60 points and is only 3 points ahead of Dnipro-1, which is second. The Dnipro team has a game in hand. Shakhtar have five matches left to play in the UPL.
