Alexander Kozhevnikov, a two-time Olympic hockey champion from Russia, said that the DPRK should establish a KHL club. The 65-year-old native of Penza, speaking about the situation with hockey in North Korea, insulted representatives of Finland.
"We raised the Finns, these scoundrels. We made players out of robots and tourmalines. All their lives they have been called stupid and turmalai, and now they are showing off. Politics is a terrible thing. It's a pity that people fall for it. The DPRK has been with us for 100 years, they are decent and much better than these Finnish cattle. There is no other way to call them. The Finns are scoundrels," Kozhevnikov said in an interview with Soviet Sport.

Russian fans responded by calling the former champion "trash".
"Kozhevnikov should be placed in the weighing room as an example of trash. Or just to a ward, to a drug treatment center," "Another one has stepped forward. He got drunk and went straight into an interview", "Dementia is already in full swing", "Well, there is a unity of form and content here - both evil in essence and in a completely gangster style", - users do not hide their feelings.
