The organizers of the main fan zone of the 2024 European Football Championship in Berlin have banned Russian, Israeli and Palestinian flags. The German capital, which will host six matches of the tournament, including the final, insists that fans have no right to organize rallies at the championship venues.

This was reported by the Berliner Morgenpost. In a comment to reporters, Moritz van Dulmen, director of the company that will manage the fan zone, said that only the national symbols of the participating teams will be allowed.

"Of course, all the national flags of the participating countries are allowed - it's part of the championship. We ask you to leave all other flags at home. The European Football Championship is not a place for other types of rallies. In this case, we want to promote football as a game," he said. Dulmen.

The Ukrainian national team will take part in the continental football championship for the fourth time in a row.
