Russia has found a national team that has agreed to play soccer with it, provoking online mockery

The Russian Football Union (RFU) is negotiating with Bahrain to organize a friendly match. The RFU also said it is trying to reach an agreement with several other federations besides Bahrain.

"We will announce the match as soon as the contract to organize it is signed," the RFU communications service said.

"Huge" number of people wanting and Bahrain as a new rival for Russian soccer players provoked ridicule from Russian fans.

Recall that a friendly match with the Russians was refused by the Egyptian national soccer team. The team, which has won the Africa Cup of Nations a record seven times, has called sparring with representatives of the aggressor country impossible, favoring the continent's neighbors.
