Official. The legendary Dynamo footballer has moved to a European club for free

Ukrainian midfielder of Dynamo Denis Garmash will continue his career in Osijek from the city of the same name, as reported on the official website of the bronze medalist of the Croatian championship. The contract is for one year with an option to extend for another year.

The 33-year-old footballer moved to the Croatian team as a free agent. Earlier, the former player of the national team of Ukraine by mutual consent of the parties broke the contract with the Kiev club. On August 16, it became known that the Bilo-Syni coach Mircea Lucescu refused Garmash's services, transferring him to the youth team.

 

"We are happy and satisfied that we managed to attract a player of Denis' level. We are talking about a legend of Dynamo Kyiv, a player with rich experience, who has played important matches and won trophies in his career. We are confident that he will improve our game and further strengthen the quality of the team, as well as become a reinforcement on and off the pitch," said Osijek sporting director Ivica Kulesevic.

This will be Denis' second foreign experience in his career after the episode in Turkey.

"I know that Osijek is a well-organized club with excellent infrastructure. I saw that it has numerous supporters who are passionate fans of the club. The atmosphere of the last home games was really impressive and that attracted me. I want to focus as much as possible on training, on getting to know my teammates and together with them to achieve the best possible result in Osijek," Garmash commented on the signing.

Denis will wear number 19. the summer footballer by mutual consent of the parties broke his contract with Dynamo Kyiv.

 

The experienced midfielder spent 16 years in the structure of Kyiv club and made his debut in the starting lineup of Dynamo's first team in October 2007. In total, Garmash played 361 matches for the Bilo-Syni, in which he scored 54 goals and made 45 goal assists, becoming a legend of Kyiv.
