Benfica Lisbon goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin, who played his 50th match for the team last weekend, has admitted that he would like to come to Ukraine. The 23-year-old native of Donetsk said that with a heavy heart he follows the news from his native country, which continues to resist Russian aggression.
Trubin stated this in an interview with the official website of Benfica. The goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team emphasized that he misses his homeland very much, but now he sees no opportunity to visit the country because of the war. He added that he supports his compatriots.

"For me, it's a little bit ... Not just a little bit, it's really hard because I'm constantly watching the news, talking to my family about what happened or didn't happen. It's hard, it's very hard for me. I really want to go there because I miss home, I miss Ukrainian food, I miss my friends... But it's not a good time. I miss everything, but we have a lot of Ukrainians and Portuguese here, who are very kind and help us in everything," Trubin said.
