Ukrainian midfielder of Chelsea Mykhailo Mudryk opened the scoring account for the London club, but did it in an unofficial match. The 22-year-old Ukrainian national team player scored in the winning game against Brighton (4:3).

Our compatriot came on as a substitute in the second half and after 20 minutes celebrated a goal. The Ukrainian spurred the attack, played in the wall with Nicholas Jackson, broke through two defenders, received a pass from Jackson and sent the ball into the net with a spectacular shot.

We remind that Mudryk moved to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in January this year for a record €100 million. Since then, he took part in 17 matches in all tournaments, making two assists.

At the end of May, Chelsea changed their head coach. The 51-year-old Argentine specialist Mauricio Pochettino became the new mentor of the "blues". The coach later shared his plans on Mudryk.
