Mudryk, Dovbyk and other players of the Ukrainian national team were included in the list of "fugitives" who are illegally abroad.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine has published information on athletes, coaches and sports personnel who have overstayed their permitted periods of stay abroad. Over the entire period of martial law in Ukraine, 317 people have violated the law.

The list published by the Interfax-Ukraine news agency includes players of the Ukrainian national team among the so-called evaders: Artem Dovbyk, Anatoliy Trubin, Ilya Zabarny and Mykhailo Mudryk.

The list also includes the name of former AEK Cyprus player Artem Gromov, who is now a free agent.

In just two years since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Sports has sent 4,760 letters to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine about athletes, as well as coaching and other sports personnel, crossing the border to participate in international competitions.

It should be noted that on November 15 last year, the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine posted a list of 300 people who had not returned from abroad. Mudryk, Dovbyk, Trubin and others were also on the list. The document was later removed from the ministry's website.

As a reminder, martial law was introduced in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and men who are liable for military service over the age of 18 are prohibited from leaving the country.

On May 26, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed athletes and coaches to travel abroad. They can stay abroad continuously for no more than 30 days, but not less than the duration of the sporting event. The period of stay abroad may be extended if athletes participate in another event after the end of the previous one.

Mudryk joined Chelsea in January last year for €100 million. Since then, he has made 42 appearances in all competitions, scoring five assists and four goals.

Trubin signed a contract with Portuguese side Benfica on August 10. The Shakhtar player was sold for €10 million plus a €1 million bonus. He played in 28 matches for the Eagles, scoring 92 goals.

Zabarny has been with Bournemouth since January 31, 2023. Since then, he has played 26 matches for the English club, playing a total of 2256 minutes, receiving three yellow cards and not scoring.
