Rodnina does not understand IOC sanctions
Three-time Olympic champion Irina Rodnina has called the conditions of admission to international competitions humiliating for Russian athletes. The so-called State Duma deputy supported the words of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who opposed the participation of representatives of the aggressor country in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris under a neutral flag.

Rodnina said this in a commentary to Sport-Express. She also pretended not to understand why the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that international federations suspend Russian athletes related to the Russian army and security forces from team sports, and demanded that athletes from Russia not support the war in Ukraine.
