"In the mud and garbage": in Russia, athletes are being gagged for complaining about competition conditions

Russian figure skaters reprimanded for complaints

The Russian Figure Skating Federation (RFSF) has conducted "explanatory work" with athletes who had previously complained about their living conditions during the youth Grand Prix. They talked about garbage, dirt and cockroaches in hotel rooms, filming everything on video.

This was reported by the website of the propaganda TV channel Match TV. According to the source, the RFSF leadership was outraged by the athletes' reaction to the organization of the tournaments in Kazan and Samara. A "serious conversation" was held with the young athletes with demands to keep quiet about the situation.

"The federation reprimanded the juniors for their complaints about living conditions. Usually, they have been having 'serious conversations' with them in recent years. It's unlikely that any more information will appear in the near future, like from the stages in Kazan and Samara," the propagandists emphasized.

Interestingly, Russian biathletes faced a similar problem. Before the start of the second stage of the so-called Commonwealth Cup in Ufa, they posted a video online showing the living conditions in a local hotel.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, it became known about big problems with ammunition for biathletes from Russia after the introduction of sanctions against the aggressor country.
