Held at gunpoint and hit on the head: shocking details of the attack on the PSG star emerge
Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his girlfriend were not only tied up during a robbery on the night of 21 July, but also held at gunpoint. In addition, the Paris Saint-Germain footballer was hit twice in the head, causing two lacerations.
New details of the robbery in Paris were shared by the authoritative publication RMC Sport. According to it, the robbers broke down the door to the footballer's house in the French capital and literally took its residents hostage. The attackers stole jewellery, bags and luxury watches. The damage is estimated at at least 500 thousand euros.
The police anti-gang unit has already launched an investigation and put the alleged criminals on the wanted list. At the same time, Donnarumma himself will travel with PSG to the first stage of the training camp in Japan on 22 July.
"They are shocked by what happened, but they are doing everything they can to get through this terrible ordeal as best they can," said Vincenzo Raiola, brother of the footballer's agent, Mino Raiola.
Earlier, the legendary ex-PCG player Lionel Messi officially signed a contract with the club where the veteran of the Ukrainian national team plays.
