Princess Kate Middleton of Wales and 20-time "Grand Slam" champion Roger Federer played a small match on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The celebrities took part in a film about the work of the boll boys and girls at Wimbledon.

The 41-year-old Swiss and Briton played on Court 3. It was here that Federer won his first major title in 2003.

Twenty years ago, Roger defeated Mark Philippoussis in the deciding match in three sets. The Aussie served 14 times in the final, but Federer was better even than that with 21 serves.

Roger Federer thus became the fourth player in history after Bjorn Borg, Stefan Edberg and Pete Sampras to add an adult title to his junior Wimbledon victory.

To remind, in 2023 Wimbledon will be held from July 3 to 18. Elina Svitolina will take part in the tournament, having received a wild-card from the organizers, saving her from having to qualify.
