Dynamo Kyiv has suffered its second defeat in the Ukrainian football championship. In an incredibly spectacular away match, Mircea Lucescu's men were weaker than Zhytomyr's Polissya, losing 2-3.

The match started very intensely. In the 4th minute, the captain of the White-Blues, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, took advantage of a graceful heel pass from Nazar Voloshyn to open the scoring. However, it took the home team only 10 minutes to respond with a well-aimed shot of their own. Midfielder Borys Krushynskyi succeeded in hitting a shot from outside the penalty area that Kyiv goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan failed to deal with.

After that, the hosts, supported by boxer Oleksandr Usyk from the stands, continued to put pressure on the opponent. In the first half, the spectators did not see any more changes in the score, but after the break, events began to develop at a cosmic speed.

In the 50th minute, the guests earned the right to an 11-meter penalty, which was converted by Buyalsky. Almost immediately, Polissia was left in the minority after defender Yevhen Morozko received a second yellow card. In this situation, Zhytomyr coach Yuriy Kalitvintsev brought on forward Pylyp Budkivskyi.

It took the former Ukraine international two minutes to force Dynamo to put the ball into play for the second time from the center of the field - 2:2. Five minutes later, Budkivskyi helped midfielder Artem Kozak score, who shocked Kyiv with a clear shot into the corner of Bushchan's goal from 12 meters out.

After that, the White-Blues staged a siege of Denys Boyko's goal. Midfielder Oleksandr Anidrievskyi hit the post from 25 meters, but that was all Kyiv could do. Moreover, in stoppage time, the visitors' defender Oleksandr Karavayev was sent off.

Thus, Dynamo lost the Premier League for the second time in the new season and remained in fifth place in the standings with 18 points. "Polissya" sensationally came out on top. At the same time, Lucescu's men have three games in hand.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Dynamo Kyiv's star midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko expressed confidence that the team has no choice but to win the national championship.
