Denys Kostyshyn, FC Dynamo Kyiv academy player, scored a masterpiece in the 3rd round of the U.S. United Soccer League (USL) (the second strongest division of the country). The Ukrainian midfielder for El Paso Locomotive scored against Detroit City.
At 16 minutes, 25-year-old Kostyshyn responded to a cross from the flank and headed the ball with a cue ball straight into the corner from 15 meters. For our countryman, it was the first successful action for the new team after the transfer in January of this year.
This precise strike by the Ukrainian was the only goal scored by El Paso Locomotive. The game ended in a 1-3 defeat for the hosts.

Note that the Ukrainian midfielder signed an agreement with the Americans for the 2023 season. Kostyshyn's last club was FC Oleksandriya in the Ukrainian Premier League, for which he played three games, scoring a goal. Denys also played in FC Dnipro and FC Kolos Kovalivka.
