Maksym Kazakov recalled his turbulent past in the capital's club

Maksym Kazakov, a Ukrainian midfielder for the Druzhba football club from the village of Myrivka (Kyiv Oblast), recalled a story from his youth when he played for Dynamo Kyiv. After one of the games for the double, Maksym went with his teammates to a bar in Pozniaky, Kyiv.

According to Kazakov, his friends got into a verbal conflic there.

"We got involved and ran into some wrestler who beat us a little bit. I had a cut on my forehead, and Vadym Soldatenko's nose was broken. The next day was a day off. Then we came to the Dynamo base to see a doctor. He examined us and said that we had to go to the Borys clinic because we needed stitches," Ukrainian Football quoted the 27-year-old midfielder as saying.

Kazakov and Soldatenko went to the hospital not in their usual "civilian" clothes, but in Dynamo gear.

"We are sitting on the floor, waiting for the doctor to see us. Then Ihor comes with the doctor and security. We pulled up our hoods, he came over, lifted our chins and said, 'Oh, guys, hello! What are you doing here?' We said, 'Hello'. We tried to make something up on the fly, but obviously Surkis didn't believe us very much. He sent us to talk to the head of Dynamo security. He told us right away, 'Guys, you better tell the truth right away because we will check and find out anyway.' We had to tell him what happened," Maksym says.

According to the footballer, the whole story ended with a punishment.

"After these events, Surkis called us to the carpet and gave us a very good spanking. He also fined us three salaries," Kazakov summarized.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Maksym Kazakov shared why he moved from Dynamo to Arsenal in 2012. Back then, the 15-year-old footballer was caught using drugs.
