Muradov came under enemy artillery attack
International boxing judge and chief boxing judge of Kyiv Elchyn Muradov, who went to the front from the first days of the full-scale invasion, was killed in the war with Russia. As OBOZ.UA previously reported, on October 8, Ukrainian boxing champion Oleksandr Chornyi from Khmelnytskyi was killed while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
A few days earlier, a boxer who fought in Azov was killed in a Grad attack. The 24-year-old athlete, who was a mortar gunner for the "Offensive Guard," fought his last battle with the Russian occupiers and saved the lives of his comrades-in-arms.
Relatives have created a petition addressed to the President of Ukraine, asking him to grant the fallen defender the title of Hero of Ukraine and to award him the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (posthumously).
