"But until that happens": Surkis answers questions about ultimatum to Dynamo leader

The president of Dynamo Kyiv, Ihor Surkis, has denied rumours that he had demanded that the team's leader, Vitaliy Buyalsky, take a pay cut. The Bilo-Syni boss noted that the player really wants to try his hand abroad, but the parties did not discuss the terms of the contract.

Surkis said this in an interview with the TaToTake show. The president of the capital's club expressed his readiness to let Dynamo's best player of last season go to a foreign team, but stressed that to date, no offers have been received to transfer Buyalsky.

"I did not give Vitaliy any ultimatums. He is a decent guy. He openly shared with me and the head coach his desire to play abroad. I promised him that I would not hold him back if the club received a good offer. But until that happens, Buyalsky remains a Dynamo player and goes to the training camp. We understand that he is a very influential player for the team," Surkis said.

Earlier, it became known that the captain of the Ukrainian national team, Andriy Yarmolenko, had returned to Dynamo, and the media disclosed the player's salary at the club.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, a street in Haifa was named after the former Dynamo player who died near Bakhmut, where the Russian embassy is located.
