"Braces are for slaves": Navka's Instagram post infuriated Russians
Olympic ice dancing champion Tatyana Navka has received a lot of angry responses from her fellow countrymen bacause of her latest Instagram post. The 48-year-old ex-figure skater posted a photo of her youngest daughter, Nadezhda, whom she gave birth to from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Happy Day of Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia. May sincere faith, strong hope and unquestioning love accompany your bright path," Navka captioned the photo.
Russians could not restrain themselves from calling Navka a hypocrite.
"Dis you mention God? Hypocrites, abettors of murder", "You're not ashamed at all, just a disgrace, both you and your husband. Braces are for slaves, while the West and civilized world for the elite, and they do not give a damn about Russia. All their children have passports of European countries or America," they write in the comments.
The former figure skater is also reminded of the grief that Russia brought to Ukraine.
As a reminder, Navka and Peskov met in 2010. On August 21, 2014, she gave birth to Nadezhda. A year later, the couple got married in Sochi. Tatyana also has a 22-year-old daughter, Alexandra, from her first marriage to figure skater and coach Alexander Zhulin.
