"Are they suspended for life?" Russian figure skaters are whining

Famous figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova was outraged by the suspension of Russian athletes from competitions. She criticized the International Skating Union (ISU) and demanded a "specific date" for the return of representatives of the aggressor country to the organization's tournaments.

Tarasova said this in a comment to the propaganda news agency TASS. The former figure skater pretended not to understand the reasons for the sanctions against the Russians, although she herself mentioned the criminal war that her country is waging against Ukraine.

"I would like to know from the ISU when we will be returned to the races, are they suspended for life or until the end of the special military operation (as the Russian Federation shamefully calls the aggression against Ukraine - ed.) We need specific dates. And if the athletes are allowed, how many people will be in each sport? I don't understand why we are not skating and why the political issue has interfered in our sports life," Tarasova said.

Earlier, in a hysterical fit, she claimed that Russian athletes had never taken banned drugs, even though the 2014 Sochi Olympics saw the opening of a state doping system in Russia controlled by the FSB.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, president of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), accused international federations of "sports genocide."
