The second division match of the Chilean football championship between Recoleta from Santiago and Temuco was interrupted due to a 5.6-magnitude earthquake. The rare event occurred at the end of the first half with the score at 1-0.
Despite the unusual situation, the fans did not react in any way, continuing to sing and support their favourite team. It was only when the referee suspended the match that the fans became quiet, but no one left their seats, waiting for the game to resume.
As a result, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
