But for some reason, FIFA and UEFA have taken a completely different position, which is definitely unfriendly," Svishchev said in an interview with VseProSport.

The parliamentarian believes that it is the influence of FIFA and UEFA that leads to the fact that no one wants to play with Russia

"In general, nothing terrible will happen, for the sake of fairness, I must say that our national team is in any case of a very high class, we have good players. And the national championship is held at a high level, legionnaires come to us not only to earn money, but also for the sake of intrigue in the tournament and improving their sportsmanship," Svyshchev said.

The deputy believes that the Russian Football Union (RFU) needs to make a conclusion about who is its friend and who is not.

"I would advise the RFU to continue its peacekeeping activities, because our team definitely needs international matches and participation in tournaments. Today or tomorrow we will be reinstated anyway. It's important that the national team exists at this point, and for that we need to play," Svishchev said.
