Eight players of Dnipro 1 felt ill before the return match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League with Greek Panathinaikos. All the players, as well as several other members of the Ukrainian team's delegation, have symptoms of severe poisoning.

About this in his Telegram-channel "Zverov about soccer" writes a well-known journalist Vladimir Zverov, who described the situation with the words "wild thrash". According to him, 15 representatives of the Ukrainian club went to the medics on the eve of the game in Athens, which will be held on Tuesday, August 1. The participation of eight players of Oleksandr Kucher's wards is in big question.

"Symptoms of poisoning were experienced even by representatives of the Dnipro-1 delegation, who did not have dinner together with the team in the Athens hotel, but only drank water and ate bananas, which the organizing side had left for the guests in the locker room. The club is now investigating how this could have happened. At the same time, the team administrators themselves buy food from the local supermarket," - said Zverov.

He added that Dnipro representatives were dissatisfied with the organization of pre-match activities on the part of the Greek club - after training on the field of the future match in the locker room of the Ukrainians had no towels, and the bus to the hotel was half an hour late.

Recall that in the first meeting in Kosice, Panathinaikos won a convincing 3-1 victory over Dnipro 1.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, according to the media, the forward of the Ukrainian national team and Dnipro-1 Artem Dovbik will leave the Ukrainian club before the end of the transfer window.
