On Wednesday, March 29, the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) started gathering at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in the morning. On this day, the monks of the Moscow Patriarchate must leave the territory of the reserve for good.

A correspondent of OBOZREVATEL reported on it. Police officers are monitoring the law and order.

In the morning, the faithful of the UOC-MP began to gather at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to attend the morning service in one of the churches. At the entrance to the reserve are police officers who monitor law and order and do not prevent people from entering the territory of the historical and cultural reserve.

 
 
 
 
 

As of 9.20 a.m., about 300 faithful had gathered near one of the churches - some of them said they would not leave the territory of the Lavra.
