Russia's Black Sea Fleet is almost "trapped": the reason for this was given by the Southern Operational Command

At the same time, Russia has withdrawn its missile carriers from the Black Sea.

The Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation is almost "trapped". The Kremlin no longer has the ability to remove it from the Black Sea.

The only thing the occupiers have left is the ability to disperse the ships across the sea. This was reported by Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Press Centre of the Southern Operational Command.

"Geographically speaking, the only way for them to withdraw such units (ships - ed.) is to go to the Sea of Azov. But the depths there will not allow the ships they have in the Black Sea to pass everywhere. And international law and sanctions will not allow them to leave the Black Sea through the Bosphorus," she said.

According to the speaker, the Russian ships are " to some extent trapped".

"But they can use the entire Black Sea to disperse their ship fleet to make it safe for them, as they immediately chose a safe distance and so far consider it to be 100 nautical miles from the Ukrainian-controlled coast," explained Humeniuk.

Earlier, Natalia Gumenyuk said that the aggressor country Russia had withdrawn its missile carriers from the Black Sea, but the threat of strikes on Ukraine was still present. The air threat remains high, as the enemy still has a stockpile of Kalibr cruise missiles.

According to her, as of March 21, the Russian grouping in the Black Sea consists of eight ships.

Earlier, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said that Russia's missile blitzkrieg had failed. According to intelligence, Russia's tactics of missile terror against Ukraine have been defeated, but the aggressor country will continue to do so. For this purpose, Russia still has enough outdated missiles, including S-300.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yuriy Ihnat, said that the occupiers had set out to shell government buildings, the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence in Ukraine. At the same time, critical infrastructure facilities remain another priority target of the enemy.
