How many Ukrainians consider Putin a modern-day Hitler and believe in victory in the war: poll results

Ukrainians remain steadfast in their desire to defeat the enemy and return the occupied territories. There is a high level of support for the Ukrainian Defence Forces and condemnation of Russian crimes of aggression.

This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Razumkov Centre's sociological service in cooperation with the Ilko Kucherov Democratic Initiatives Foundation from 23 to 30 March 2023. It also shows a sharply negative attitude of Ukrainians towards the Russian president.

Almost 92% of Ukrainians still believe in Ukraine's victory over Russia. There are no significant regional differences - residents of all regions almost unanimously believe that Ukraine will defeat the terrorist state.

Also, according to the survey, 94% of respondents consider Russian President Vladimir Putin to be a dictator and a contemporary of Hitler.

Ukrainians were also asked what were the most important events during the war that supported their morale and were associated with pride and victory. Thus, for the Ukrainians surveyed, these were various military operations, including the liberation of Kherson (15%), the defence of Kharkiv (11%), and the de-occupation of Kyiv region (10%). Among the general factors contributing to positive emotions are the liberation of the occupied territories (16%), pride in the Ukrainian military (10%), and a sense of unity in society (9%).

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, collaborators in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia are burning documents and preparing Ukrainian symbols. Residents of the temporarily occupied territories are waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate the settlements. But collaborators who voluntarily cooperated with the enemy are preparing for de-occupation in their own way.

Earlier, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine spoke about the failure of the occupiers' plans in Crimea. In anticipation of a Ukrainian counter-offensive, the occupiers have been showing panic in recent weeks. Thus, after a series of "pops", people are leaving the occupied Crimea en masse.
