Duda arrives in Kyiv on Independence Day

On the morning of August 24, Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Kyiv on a visit. The head of state will take part in events dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day.
The Polish president was met at the railway station. The corresponding video was posted by the Office of the President of Poland on X.
"On the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, the President of the Republic of Poland is taking part in the celebrations," the office said.
The visit was not announced in advance for security reasons. No details, including a specific schedule, were provided.
At the same time, Polish media reported that Duda would hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the day.
It is worth noting that this is Duda's fifth visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.
