"A travel bonus?": photos of mushrooms growing right in an Ukrzaliznytsia train stirred up the web

In one of Ukrainian Railways passenger cars, mushrooms were found growing right above the sleeping area. Dozens of mushrooms of unknown origin were hanging from the window frame above the passengers' pillows, which obviously caused outrage among Ukrainians.

However, many took the latest "innovation" of Ukrzaliznytsia with humor. Galina Krasnobryzha shared photos of the unusual discovery on Facebook.

The woman noted that the picture was taken in January of this year in one of the trains traveling to Kharkiv region. She also asked the mycologists to tell her what kind of mushrooms Ukrzaliznytsia grows in its cars.

Many social media users noticed, not without reason, that the mushrooms look like oyster mushrooms, which are often used in cooking. Therefore, Ukrainians ironically assumed that this was not an accidental find but a kind of activity.

In addition, some people assumed that the photo shows a restaurant car in which Ukrzaliznytsia provides a service for picking and cooking fresh mushrooms.

However, Ukrainians said that this situation was actually disgusting. Many asked a rhetorical question about the last year this car was cleaned up if mushrooms have already begun to grow there.
