According to the Chinese calendar, the next year, 2025, will be marked by the Snake symbol. The element of the year will be wood, and the color will be green.

Colors to avoid

The colors of the elements generated by wood are also not suitable. That is, the colors of fire - red and orange. After all, in this case, generation also means destruction.
In addition, astrologers advise avoiding any neon shades. Since wood is an element directly related to nature, too bright colors will not be appropriate. Neither are black and gray, which are achromatic, i.e. devoid of color.
Opt for green and brown. Yellow in the Chinese tradition is the color of the Earth, so it will work well. Be sure to choose colors that are as natural as possible.
Fabrics to avoid
As we have already found out, metallic shine is out of question this time. This includes other shiny fabrics, such as satin. There is only one exception to this rule - golden fabrics will be quite appropriate.
Do not even think of choosing a dress made of synthetic fibers. Snakes, especially wooden snakes, like naturalness. Thus, the skin should breathe freely in a festive outfit.
Avoid animal prints as well. The animal of the year may be offended by the use of a snakeskin print, and the "predatory" coloring may come as a threat.
And, of course, you should avoid rigid materials that hinder movement. Snakes are famous for their flexibility and mobility, so the body should feel free.
