The scandalous military commissar of Odessa Region, Yevhen Borisov, whose journalists found luxury real estate in Spain, has been dismissed from his post. An investigation into his possible involvement in corruption schemes is currently continuing.

This was reported by the head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Gumeniuk. Until a new head of the Territorial center of acquisition is appointed, his duties will be temporarily performed by the staff deputy.

According to Gumenyuk, after the resonance caused by a journalistic investigation regarding the luxury real estate of the head of the Odessa region Territorial center of acquisition Evgeny Borisov, he was fired.

"As of now, I would like to note that the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff, which was proclaimed on June 23, has been implemented. Colonel Borisov has been dismissed from the position of head of the regional territorial staffing center of the Odessa region," she noted.

The investigation into the officer's possible involvement in corrupt schemes continues.

"Now there is a procedure - it has a certain length of time - for the transfer of the position and further planned implementation of the officer. Now we do not interfere with the activities of law enforcement agencies, those violations and proceedings that have been opened, they continue, law enforcement agencies work, the evidence base is collected and formed", - said Gumeniuk.

The military was attributed to the importation of a premium car under the guise of humanitarian aid.
