In Spain, the military tearfully saw off Ukrainian defenders returning home after completing their training. A touching video of the moment was posted online.
As you can see in the video, the Spaniards could not hold back their tears as they said goodbye to their colleagues. Then they lined up along the road where the buses with the Ukrainians were travelling (to watch the video, scroll down to the end).

In addition, in January, it became known that the Ukrainian military would be trained in Spain to operate HAWK air defence systems. Madrid promised to provide Ukraine with a total of six such SAMs, and in early December, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov confirmed the receipt of the first Hawk.

- Spain has provided Ukraine with ten Leopard 2A4 tanks. The first of them were received in April. At the same time, the country will not participate in the F-16 coalition, as it does not have such aircraft in service.
- The United States and the United Kingdom have confirmed their readiness to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s this summer. A training airfield is currently being prepared for instructors to conduct a full course of training.
- Portugal is ready to take part in training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s and has promised Ukraine spare parts for these fighters if requested.
