Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže arrived in Ukraine on Friday.

Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže, who was appointed to the post last week, arrived on Friday, April 26, on an official visit to Ukraine. She was met by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv.

This was reported by the Latvian Foreign Ministry in a post on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter). Together, they honored the victims of Russian aggression in Ukraine at the Wall of Remembrance.

"The visit to Ukraine is the first bilateral foreign visit of the minister, which confirms the priority role of supporting Ukraine in Latvia's foreign policy," the post reads.

Earlier it was reported that on Friday, April 26, the 21st meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format will take place after it was first convened exactly two years ago. The meeting will discuss how to make up for the six-month delay in U.S. aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
