The airlines that use the newest aircraft have been named

To determine which airlines operate the newest aircraft, the ch-aviation platform analyzed an extensive database of more than 4,800 operating operators. During the annual Youngest Aircraft Fleet Award, not only the winners in the European market were announced, but also the winning airlines from other continents.

It is noteworthy that the newest aircraft are mostly used by low-cost airlines popular among Europeans. This was reported by Travel Daily News.

Thomas Jaeger, CEO of ch-aviation, said: "ch-aviation established the award to recognize airlines around the world that understand the value and need to invest in their fleet by introducing new generation aircraft that significantly reduce CO2 emissions in the aviation industry and improve fuel economy."

Analyzing the European market, aviation industry experts concluded that the youngest fleet is owned by the Irish company PLAY, which uses 10 aircraft with an average age of 3.51 years.

Latvia's AirBaltic is in second place, and the low-cost airline Wizz Air rounds out the top three. Pegasus Airlines and French Bee took 4th and 5th place, respectively.

European carriers did not make it to the top of the world's airlines in terms of the newest aircraft. The top places were distributed as follows:

1. Asian carrier Starlux Airlines

2. Lynx Air from North America

3. North American airline Arajet

4. Vistara from Asia

5. JetSMART from South America
