Windows overlooking Romania, and "space" prices: Ukrainians are being sold houses on the banks of the Tisza
In Zakarpattia, houses are being sold near the Tisza River on the border with Romania. For example, one of the buildings is being sold for $165,000 (6,451,500 UAH), which has been met with a strong reaction on social media.
The price also includes 5 acres of land. This announcement was posted by realtor Vitalii Radchenko on Instagram.
For comparison, a house in Kyiv's Podil district (267.5 square meters, 6.25 acres of land, 3 floors) is sold on OLX for this price. This house also has a sauna.
There is also an ad on OLX for another house for sale not far from the Tisza River for $69,000 (UAH 2,697,900). It is located in the city of Tyachiv (Zakarpattia region).
"House for sale in a green picturesque location with a beautiful view of the mountain. A few hundred meters to the Tisa River and the border with Romania. It is well suited for both summer cottage and permanent residence. And also for other uses.
Two-story, 4-room, there are two basements. Electricity, gas. Own water from the well. Sewerage – septic tank with overflow. Thanks to the high foundation, water has never entered the house during floods. The cadastral number for the plot is 10 acres, in fact, more than 11," the ad says.
