Which affordable cars will not disappoint: driver satisfaction rating
Car owners have identified the affordable cars they are most satisfied with. Researchers have collected information about the best automakers in a variety of ways.
The authors of the study from JD Power chose ten parameters, each of which can be scored 100 points. The maximum level is 1000 points. This system was used to give the scores.
Which cars are drivers most satisfied with:
- Dodge (887);
- RAM (873);
- GMC (858);
- Mini (856);
- Kia (851);
- Chevrolet (846);
- Hyundai (844);
- Nissan (843);
- Buick (841);
- Ford (838);
- Honda (835);
- Jeep (831);
- Mitsubishi (831);
- Mazda (828);
- Volkswagen (827);
- Subaru (824);
- Toyota (824);
- Chrysler (810).
The average score in the segment is 837 points. This is less than before. That is, overall satisfaction with cars is declining.
Researchers attribute this primarily to customer dissatisfaction with infotainment systems. They are overgrown with new features that are often useless, poorly executed, and inconvenient to use.
The highest scores were given to manufacturers that offer convenient integration of multimedia systems with the owner's smartphone. In this situation, you simply do not have to use the standard inconvenient functionality.
