Refueling is an aspect of every car owner's daily life. It becomes so commonplace that most people don't think about how to do it properly.

Many put off refueling until the last moment. SUV News tells why you shouldn't do this .

Some car owners prefer frequent refueling so that the fuel level does not fall below half. However, others, for certain reasons, such as a desire to save time or in anticipation of lower fuel prices, postpone a visit to the gas station until the light on the dashboard comes on.

Usually, when the fuel level indicator comes on, there are about 8-10 liters of gasoline or diesel left in the tank. This may well be enough for another 50-100 kilometers, but experts recommend that you do not bring the fuel level to a critical level in any case.

Unexpected situations

You can never know for sure whether you'll be stuck in traffic or have to leave on an emergency trip, so you should always keep your tank more or less full. This way, unforeseen circumstances won't take you by surprise and you won't be left without fuel in the middle of the road.

Impact on the car

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to refuel with high quality fuel in Ukraine. As a result, deposits accumulate at the bottom of the fuel tank. Even if you have a fuel filter, this sediment can enter the system, clogging the injectors and combustion chambers. This will interfere with fuel distribution and can lead to costly repairs.

To avoid these problems, you should refuel so often that you always have about 20-30 liters of fuel in the tank. Also, choose proven gas stations with quality fuel.
