Ferrari has long been a symbol of speed, agility and premium quality. After the triumphant release of the LaFerrara hybrid supercar, the SF90 Stradale, 296 GTB, and SF90 XX also appeared. Batteries and motors have become an integral part of Maranello's arsenal, but an all-electric Ferrari is truly a new era.

It has become known that the Italian car giant plans to release an impressive electric car in 2025. TopGear experts have released the first information about the new product and provided details.

Ferrari will soon celebrate its centenary. The company was founded in 1928 by Enzo Ferrari as Scuderia Ferrari. Since 1947, Ferrari has been producing street-legal sports cars under the Ferrari SpA brand. Throughout its long history, the company has gained a first-class reputation. Its sporty and reliable cars take part in various races, especially in Formula 1, where they are most successful.

A new electric car will be released in 2025. It is known that it will not be a successor to LaFerrari. Ferrari presents the F80 hybrid with a V6 engine.

There is not much insider information about the new model. It will be a part of the main lineup, and that's where the available facts end. Prototypes of electric cars have not appeared on the road for tests, so there are not even preliminary photos of camouflaged cars with Maserati Levante body and the exhaust pipes sticking out driving around Maranello.

Preliminary predictions are that, based on the success of the V12-powered Purosangue, the EV will also rely on the SUV form factor. The roofline will be in the style of a coupe. The electric car will be somewhat similar to Lamborghini's first electric car, which was recently shown as a concept - the Lanzador - essentially a four-door super GT.

We can only guess at the performance, but Ferrari can easily offer 1000 hp and all-wheel drive.
