What Toyota's budget SUV, which the brand is currently preparing for the premiere, may look like. Photo
Toyota's new budget SUV will join the Land Cruiser lineup and will be much cheaper than the Toyota Prado. The car is being prepared for the premiere, but is being kept secret. Luckily, a possible concept design was shown online.
The low-cost Toyota Land Cruiser FJ for the 2026 model year will be similar in size to the Toyota RAV4 crossover. However, the design will be completely different - it will feature a brutal style and with references to retro elements. The TALK WHEELS channel showed what the model might look like.
The car will be the successor to the Toyota FJ Cruiser, which was discontinued about 10 years ago. Earlier, it was assumed that the inexpensive SUV would be called Land Hopper (this name was recently patented). But in the end, an electric scooter received it.
Insiders reported that the new car will have a 163 hp gasoline engine. The estimated price of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is about $23,000, but this is still a preliminary figure.
It is obvious that Toyota wants to turn the Land Cruiser line into an image sub-brand, as Land Rover did with the Range Rover models - it all started with one car, and now there are four in the line.
