November 4, according to the New Julian calendar, is the day of remembrance of Nicander, Bishop of Myra and Presbyter Jermay. They were disciples of St. Titus, who was a follower of the Apostle Paul himself. The men actively preached Christianity and converted many pagans to their faith. In times of persecution and persecution, it was dangerous to profess Christianity. But the martyrs did not betray their faith even after torture and torture.

On November 4, Ukrainian railroad workers celebrate their professional holiday. This date was initiated by the Lviv Railway, because on November 4, 1861, the first train that ran between Vienna and Lviv, crossing the cities of Krakow and Przemysl, arrived at the Lviv City Railway Station. Previously, Railroad Workers' Day was celebrated on the first Sunday of August, but the holiday was postponed by presidential decree in 2002.
