Miner's Day is a professional holiday that has no specific date and is celebrated on the last Sunday of August. This time, it falls on the 25th. The purpose of the holiday is to honor the work and contribution to Ukraine's economy of coal industry workers.

Donetsk City Day - Donetsk City Day also coincides with Miner's Day. This region of Ukraine has traditionally been engaged in coal mining, and its center is also known as the mining capital.
