Helsinki airport officials did not want to let the Russian woman into the city

A tourist from Russia was not allowed to leave the airport in Helsinki, Finland, while she was waiting for a bus to St. Petersburg. Finnish border guards ordered her to wait in a neutral zone.

This was reported by a Russian media outlet. This is not the first time the Finns have shown hostility to their neighbors.

A Russian woman said she had flown in from London. At passport control, she was asked what time the bus to St. Petersburg was arriving. The flight was scheduled for two and a half hours later, so she said she "didn't even think there would be any problems." However, the Finnish border guards said that the tourist was not allowed to stay in Finland for that long, so she had to wait in the terminal. "We'll let you out before the bus," the workers added.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about how a Russian tourist was insulted by a taxi driver in Turkey: he called Russians "terrible non-humans" and threatened the police.
