What do you expect from a vacation in Paris? Romance, music, delicious coffee and fresh croissants, access to many outstanding works of art.

But according to a study by Deluxe Holiday Homes, what you get from Paris are crowds and queues at any single location of any interest. According to the Express, the French capital topped the ranking of cities with the most tourists per square kilometer.

Paris has 351,429 visitors per unit area annually. And the ratio of tourists to population is crazy 1708 percent.

This is already affecting the city's rankings in a negative way. Visitors to the city, forced to stand in huge lines to get to outstanding attractions, leave not too enthusiastic reviews on aggregators like Tripadvisor. Some complain of huge crowds everywhere, while others warn of the frequent presence of pickpocket thieves, who are always attracted to crowds.

In addition to this, Paris is unpleasantly striking dirt on the streets, which is also a consequence of the large number of tourists - the city authorities simply do not have time to clean up after them. And also often visitors are aggressive, as a consequence in the city you can often see a street fight.

Nevertheless, many people are still fascinated by the beauty of the French capital and its fullness of art. People are still ready to stand huge queues in the Louvre and other art museums, as well as endlessly stroll along the Parisian streets, admiring the unique architecture with many palaces.
