Warm beaches and vibrant nightlife: where to go to have fun in winter
There is still half of winter ahead, and many people are already dreaming of escaping from it in the summer, at least for a vacation. Egypt remains a country that offers eternal warmth, beautiful sea, and inexpensive tourist services.
The Express magazine told us where to go to have a great vacation. Here you can bask on the sandy beaches, enjoy the clear waters of the Red Sea, and the lively nightlife. And this city is the touristy Sharm el-Sheikh.
This Egyptian resort is located on the coastal strip of the Red Sea. The air temperature here reaches 22 °C in January. And it is the coldest month of the year in Egypt.
To build a resort here, the Egyptians conquered the desert. However, you can admire the desert landscapes, for example, when visiting the Bedouin village.
For beach lovers, Sharm el-Sheikh offers a variety of activities – from snorkeling and diving to yacht trips to picturesque coral reefs. The resort boasts an amazingly clean sea, so it will be a pleasure to admire its beauty.
The real pearl of the region, Ras Mohammed National Park, is called a true paradise for scuba diving enthusiasts. Here you can see many species of tropical fish, and if you are lucky, even sea turtles.
Sharm el-Sheikh really comes alive at night, so if you want to party after a day of relaxing in the sun, this is the place for you. The tourist strip in the center has many entertainment venues where you can listen to a DJ set, attend a concert, or otherwise enjoy yourself. There are also cocktail bars scattered everywhere for those who want a slightly quieter night. Many of these establishments are located right on the waterfront.
The choice of hotels in Sharm El Sheikh is truly impressive. Here you can choose a place to stay for any budget. More expensive hotels even have their own water parks. In any case, you will be greeted by friendly local staff who speak several languages at once.
