Volvo budget car: photos of a cheap hybrid crossover have appeared

The Lynk & Co 06 budget crossover is the result of a collaboration between Volvo and Geely. It is the Swedish brand that has the greatest influence on the young company in terms of technology and design.

Photos of the Lynk & Co 06 were shown on the CarNewsChina website. This is a restyled crossover that costs from $20,000 in the Chinese market. But soon the novelty will be sent to Europe.

The length of the budget crossover is 4350 mm with a wheelbase of 2640 mm. The width is 1820 mm and the height is 1625 mm. The car is comparable in size to the Nissan Qashqai.

The affordable model has a powerful hybrid powertrain, which includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 120 hp and a 218-horsepower electric motor. The maximum speed of this modification will be 178 km/h. A 19 kWh battery pack will allow the car to travel about 100 km on electric power alone.

In addition, Lynk & Co 06 will be available in a basic gasoline version. In this case, a 1.5-liter engine with 190 hp will be under the hood.
