"Ukrzaliznytsia" has significantly increased the number of train tickets: how much do tickets cost

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has added 52 cars to its trains on popular routes. The reason is the need to meet demand. In particular, 5 additional cars were added to the train №79/80 Lviv – Kyiv – Dnipro. Tickets for this train for the January 1 departure from Lviv start at UAH 983.

This was reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia" itself. They also noted that additional cars were added to the trains:

• № 81/82 Kyiv – Uzhhorod,
• № 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv,
• № 39/40 Zaporizhzhia – Solotvyno,
• № 127/128 Zaporizhzhia – Lviv,
• № 121/122 Mykolaiv – Kyiv, etc.

"We are adding additional cars to our trains in the run-up to the New Year. To meet passenger demand for travel during the holidays, we are adding 52 cars to trains across the country. This will provide about 4,000 additional seats in both directions for passengers across the country," the statement said.

How much do train tickets cost for Lviv – Kyiv – Dnipro

Tickets for the train №79/80 Lviv – Kyiv – Dnipro, to which 5 new cars were added at once, for the January 1 departure from Lviv are sold in compartments and suite cars. The prices are as follows:

• in a compartment – UAH 983.07;

• in a luxury class – 2403.32 UAH.

However, the number of tickets is limited. At the time of publication:

• there were 13 seats left in the compartment;
• in the suite – 2.
