Our compatriot was in the right place at the right time

Roman Yaremchuk, a Ukrainian forward for Belgian club Brugge who plays on loan for Valencia, has scored his first goal for the Spanish club. The 28-year-old Ukrainian national team player scored in the match of the 1/32 finals of the Spanish Cup against Arosa, which plays in the country's fifth strongest division.

In the 8th minute, our compatriot successfully played at the forefront of the attack, opening the scoring with a precise goal.

Arosa players tried to create an artificial offside situation, but Roman avoided the trap by hitting an accurate "shot" past the goalkeeper.

This goal was the only one. It was also the only winning goal in the match (1-0).

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Yaremchuk may end his career at Valencia ahead of schedule as one of the most titled clubs in Spain wants to terminate the lease agreement with Brugge, which owns the rights to the player, in January.

Roman Yaremchuk joined Valencia on September 1, 2023. Since then, he has managed to play 11 matches without scoring any goals.
